Our team joint work reflects the Bank's good reputation and national importance. Vasyl Gorbal was at the Head of the Board for fifth year in row. His authority in business, public and political groups, his professional and human features became guarantee for reliable development of the Bank. This is the fifth year in succession that OJSB 'UkrGasBank' corroborates its status of reliable and effective financial organization on a national scale.

Indeed, during the last 5 years, with V. Gorbal being a head of the team, 'UkrGasBank' turned from regional to multi-branch bank that benefited a lot to the national economy.

Our business activity based on quality, accessible service provided for Ukrainian producers and population. During 1998-2000 OJSB 'UkrGasBank' developed in line with its development conception that envisaged gaining a status of branch bank on servicing oil and gas enterprises. During the years under review a grate number of enterprises, organizations were involved in oil and gas production, processing and transportation. 'UkrGasBank' became a principal financial member of oil-and-gas industry of the country – National Joint Stock Company "Ukraine Naftogas".

And since 2000 'UkrGasBank' has been working as a universal bank; 'UkrGasBank' launched retail banking and opened a number of regional representative offices. In 2001 the Bank and CJSC 'Eurocar' fulfilled an investment project 'Eurocar' in special economic zone 'Zakarpattia'. The Bank acted as a financial manager and received status of an authorized agent on attracting investment to the ‘Eurocar’ project. In April 2002, in light of election of Ukrainian People’s Deputy from Solomenskiy district of Kyiv, Vasyl M. Gorbal became Honorary President of OJSB 'UkrGasBank'.

Public assistance, given on public deputy initiative, is highly important for unprotected society groups. According to Vasyl M. Gorbal, charity is not only a display of mercy, but also a type of responsibility of big business to veterans, pensioners, orphans and invalids for imperfection of social relations.
