On the 1st of March, “Ukrgasbank” JSB, OJSC starts placement of mortgage bonds to the amount of UAH 50 million.

On March 1, 2007, “Ukrgasbank” JSB, OJSC (Kyiv) starts placement of mortgage bonds to the amount of UAH 50 million, as reported by the Head of Investment Department of “Ukrgasbank” JSB, OJSC Yuriy Kamenetsky.

"On January 23, the State Commission on Securities and Stock Exchange has takes decision to register issue of mortgage bonds of the bank. The first placement of mortgage bonds will be held from March 1, 2007 till February 29, 2008 ", - he said.

As it was informed earlier, the maturity of mortgage bonds with par value UAH 1 thousand shall be three years, the yield for the whole maturity on the market is 10,5%.  HVB Ukraine (Kyiv) is chosen to be a mortgage cover manager.

Rating agency "Credit-Rating" has assigned the credit rating "uaA" to the issue of mortgage bonds by “Ukrgasbank” JSB, OJSC.
In December 2005 “Ukrgasbank” JSB, OJSC was chosen as a pilot bank for issue of mortgage bonds under cooperation with "Pragma" und under participation of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the program is called "Crediting Assistance Initiative".

Goal of the project – to assist development of mortgage market in Ukraine.

At the beginning of 2007 the mortgage loans portfolio (housing and land mortgage) of “Ukrgasbank” JSB, OJSC was UAH 350 million.
